Day 1: Nairobi > Masai Mara National Reserve
After an early breakfast, you will be picked up from your Nairobi hotel or the airport. Depart for the Masai Mara National Reserve, with a stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for breathtaking photos. Continue to Narok town for a lunch stop. Arrive in the Mara in the afternoon, check in to your lodge/camp, and embark on your first thrilling game drive. Dinner and overnight are at your lodge/campsite.
Day 2: Full Day in Masai Mara
The day begins with an early morning game drive, the best time to spot predators as they are most active in the cool hours. Return to the lodge for a full breakfast. In the afternoon, venture out again in search of the Big Five and the great wildebeest migration (seasonal). Dinner and overnight are at your lodge/campsite.
Day 3: Masai Mara > Lake Nakuru
Enjoy one final early morning game drive in the Masai Mara. After breakfast at the lodge, check out and begin your journey to Lake Nakuru National Park. The drive is scenic, taking you through the highlands. You will arrive in Nakuru in the late afternoon, check in to your lodge, and have time to relax.
Day 4: Explore Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast, depart for a full morning of game drives in the spectacular Lake Nakuru National Park. Famous for its flamingos that often coat the shoreline in pink, the park is also a rhino sanctuary and one of the best places in Kenya to see both the endangered black and white rhinos. In the late afternoon, head out for another game drive. Dinner and overnight are at your lodge/campsite.
Day 5: Lake Nakuru > Nairobi
After a leisurely breakfast, check out of your lodge. You will have a final, brief en-route game drive as you exit Lake Nakuru National Park. Afterwards, begin your journey back to Nairobi, with a stop for lunch en route. You will be dropped off at your Nairobi hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in the afternoon.
